As a student at the University of Vermont who studied abroad for a semester, I really struggled to find a housing arrangement that would work for me. I didn't want to lease an apartment for an entire year and pay for it during the 6 months I wasn't even in the country. However, there was no central website for me to seek out others who were looking to sublet from me. And every subletting website I did find was overrun with landlords looking for typical year-long lessees, defeating the purpose of the website. Knowing that many of my friends have also had the same problem, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create MySubletter. This website is dedicated to supporting students, workers, and anyone who needs to find a non-traditional housing arrangement. I want to help people find affordable housing that works for them to avoid getting exploited by landlords. Hopefully this site helps you find your perfect housing match!
